DESCRIPTION
The UCM01 devices are underground cable monitors desi¬gned to monitor some key parameters of underground me¬dium voltage cables and joints to prevent network faults and outages. Cable or splice temperature, soil temperature and humidity, and phase currents are continuously captured and aggregated over a “delivery interval”.
FEATURES
• Equipped with an IP68 degree of protection that allows it to be placed underground near the cable and is powered by magnetic induction, which allows recharging of the supplied battery
• UCM01 devices are available with both NB-IoT and Lo¬RaWAN wireless interfaces for bi-directional data exchange with the dedicated iTHINGS WEB application
• In addition to the collected data, the status of the collected power, battery level and signal level/network quality are also provided, to allow remote monitoring of system status
